Professor Samuel, the founder and CEO of COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited, has donated GHC 100,000 to the Ghana Federation of Traditional Medicine Practitioners Associations (GHAFTRAM).

The donation was intended to help members who have potential medicines but lack the funds to go through the evaluation and registration process.

Professor Ato Duncan made the donation last Wednesday at the relaunch of COA Mixture at the Alisa Hotel.

COA Mixture is a well-researched plant medicine that has been scientifically developed for general well-being and has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The re-launched COA Mixture is an advancement in drug development, and it has been upgraded from a food supplement to herbal medicine for general well-being after going through the FDA processes.

Professor Samuel Ato Duncan, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited, spoke at the launch and refuted claims that the COA Mixture is a cure for HIV.

However, he did note that the COA Mixture is so potent that it preserves itself and contains unique phytochemicals that can support the immune system for healthy living.

He also stated that the COA Mixture is a 100 percent natural plant-based product with no artificial preservatives.

Professor Ato Duncan announced that the COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited is on the verge of a research breakthrough and that if successful, Ghana could earn up to 32 billion dollars per year from this plant medicine.

“As part of my Global Peace Mission Project, this is what I hope to achieve for Mother Ghana.” This will provide economic relief to Ghana and treatment for some diseases that the rest of the world is struggling to treat,” he said.

As a result, he urged the government, research institutions, and investors to work with the company to make the above vision a reality.

Professor Ato Duncan revealed that the company has already purchased 1000 acres of land in the Ashanti Region to cultivate raw materials.

However, he stated that the company requires an additional 9000 acres of land for raw material cultivation in order to meet international market demands for COA products.

He gave GHC 100,000 to the Ghana Federation of Traditional Medicine Practitioners Associations (GHAFTRAM) to help members who have potential medicines but lack the funds to go through the evaluation and registration process.

Because of his support for COA Mixture, Prof Ato Duncan named the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as Patron of the COA Mixture.

He urged everyone, particularly those living abroad, to take COA Mixture for their overall health.
