Charlton Athletics have completed the signing of Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott from EFL League Two side, Swindon Town.
The Black Stars goalkeeper has moved a step higher on the English Football pyramid to League One, having previously competed in the League Two for two seasons.
Swindon first acquired the Ghanaian shot-stopper on loan from Bristol City before making the deal permanent before the start of the 2021/2022 Season.
Jojo Wollacott was named in the League Two team of the Season and would have been out of contract starting July 2022.
Wollacott has been identified as one of the best ball playing goalkeepers in the League Two making Ben Garner a favorite and eventually landing the 25-year-old.
Wollacott will be looked up to as Ghana prepares for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
