The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo embarks on an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany at the invitation of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel from Sunday August 22, 2021.
His one week visit is expected to strengthen Ghana’s relations with Germany to boost businesses and investments of the two countries.
Director and of communicatios at the presidency, Mr.Eugene Arhin gave further details of the President’s visit at a press conference on Friday August 20, 2021.
“The President will embark on an official visit to Germany at the invitation of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, especially with the aim of keeping the ties of co-operation and bonds of friendship that exist between the two countries” he said.
Addressing the Presidential Press Conference at the maiden edition of the newly instituted Jubilee House briefing, Mr. Eugene Arhin also said that, during the President’s visit, he will deliver a speech at the 75th anniversary celebration of the formation of the North Rhine-Westphalia state which is Germany’s most popular state and number one industrial region.
