Former Hearts of Oak attacker, Abednego Tetteh has confirmed negotiations with Ghana Premier League newbies, Bibiani Gold Stars.
The attacker annulled his relationship with Hearts of Oak after a double winning season with the Phobians.
Abednego Tetteh fell short of Hearts of Oak Head Coach Samuel Boadu’s 36 man-squad for the African campaign and terminated his 3-year contract with the Accra-based side.
Speaking to Zylofon TV on Thursday, September 2, 2021, Abednego Tetteh assures that he is currently 80 percent through to joining the Ghana Premier League new face, Bibiani Gold Stars.
“I’m almost done with Bibiani Gold Stars. It’s 80 percent done. I’ll play for them next season if I’m to choose another destination.
Bibiani Gold Stars secured the only slot in zone 2 of the Division One League and will be playing in 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.
When asked whether he’s going to jubilate against the Phobians in an event he scores against them: Abednego Tetteh said – “why not, I’m going to jubilate, I’m going to do that anytime I score against Hearts of Oak”.
Abednego Tetteh showered praises on fans of Hearts of Oak and claimed he has huge admiration for them despite not being able to match up to the standard he’s known for.
“I love Hearts of Oak fans, I can liken them to fans of Al Hilal, though the language and the countries are not same but they are of the same attitude and support”.
