Francis Hema was met with a heroic welcome by the Essikado township after arriving from Doha, Qatar with his International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Young Reporter Broadcaster Award.
The Connect FM(a subsidiary of Media General) Broadcast Journalist emerged winner of the prestigious Young Reporter Broadcaster award category which saw competition from 300 eligible participants across the world.
The award ceremony was held on June 12, 2022 at Doha, Qatar at the Khalifa International Stadium, a venue that will be hosting some of the games of the 2022 World Cup.
