15 incumbent MPs defeated

15 incumbent MPs defeated in the just ended elections held on May 13, 2023, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the largest opposition party, held elections to select their Presidential and Parliamentary candidates for the upcoming 2024 elections.

John Mahama emerged victorious with a staggering 98.9% of the votes, seeing many MPs also retaining their seats.

The results of the election led to the defeat of some sitting Members of Parliament, signaling the end of their tenure after the 2024 election.

The following are the 15 incumbent MPs who lost the elections.
